Oh Happy Daays

I'm REALLY excited about this website Sparkpeople.com .  It has been a great resource for me so far. I don't struggle with severe weight problems but I've def gained unhealthy weight in my stomach and I was previously unmotivated to work out at all. The past 2 years I've developed bad eating habbits and have failed to do any habbitual exercises. ( Read more... )

(I added you back, btw! Hi!)

Tozer rocks. So does one of his closest friends, Ravenhill, who is also one of my favorites. They're both so on-fire, and God really uses them both! They both motivate me, and I know when I continue to follow what they say, I'm closer to god than when I'm "doing my own thing".

Recently, I've come across an AWESOME website about health, wellness, and fitness. Now, I don't agree with 100% of what this guy says, because he clearly believes strongly in evolution, but his articles are still really awesome. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/ is the website. But, one of my favorite articles he wrote is a full-length and very thorough explanation of how and why diabetes works http://www.marksdailyapple.com/diabetes/ . I'm sharing this website with you because of how this man explains carbs, and partially because of this man, my age-old carbs addiction is practically gone for good. I'm not all gung-ho like he is, but his explanations simply changed the way I think, and now I go for more healthy foods without even thinking about it.

In all honesty, my carb uptake is way up because of pregnancy, because I'm afraid NOT to do the FDA amounts during pregnancy. When I fill out my eating charts, without even thinking about it my scores always come to the -lowest- recommended amount of carbs for a pregnant woman, and the -highest- levels of protein, which is great! I'm in the zone, but on the healthy ends, lol.

My favorite Ravenhill book is Why Revival Tarries. He has a LOT of sermons and compilations online, too!

Have you ever heard The Revival hymn?http://www.revivalhymn.com/
It's -really- good. It's a compilation of a bunch of the greatest preachers of our time's clips. I know Ravenhill is in it, and I think Tozer is, too.

PS: You can also get the audio-only version. The video shows what they are saying and has pretty pictures, but if you can understand the accents, the audio is just fine!

We ended up going to Fire Mountain instead. :Disappointed: It's similar to Old Country Buffet. :/ It wasn't that amazing.
