and i could not ask for more

this weekend was pretty much exactly what i needed

an escape

plenty of time alone in the car just to enjoy being alone
time with some folks i don't see very often
good shopping
then back to school saturday night to enjoy the weekend here
watching ER under the influence of alcohol
dubuque symphony orchestra concert

it would have been difficult to have a more satisfying weekend

and i think what really helped was that nothing was planned... nothing was formulaic... nothing was usual.  just good, spontaneous fun.

i feel better.

of course, now it's time to make up for everything that didn't get done.

i'd better buckle my seatbelt... this week's going to be a wild ride.
