all the students on campus received an email tonight aimed at the first-year class. it was from the student union, more specifically, the procedural chairman, discussing opportunities for first-years to get involved in the "Loris Student Union". it mentioned how the "Loris Student Union" provides money to student organizations "to help you Be More at Loris".
apparently, not only have they changed our slogan [from "you belong here" to "be more"], but they have also recently changed the spelling of "loras" to "loris".
that's something good to see from our student representatives....
i didn't vote for him.
