"this is a breast." "a what?" "a breast." "a what?" "a breast!" "oh, a breast!"

i just saw a commercial for nationwide car insurance.  the kids were in the back seat playing the "this is a this..." game, like we did obnoxiously in the one-act play "this is a test".  it made me smile and giggle a little.

i really just wanted to share that.

people are moving in tomorrow!!!  yayness!!!!!
*does a little happy dance*

actually, tomorrow will probably be a really long day, and i'll probably be tired... but i'll have friends!!!!!

i get to go to the presidential luncheon with the first-years.  yay for fancy free food!  not nearly as fancy as what they feed the regents (oh my god, that was amazing, and just thinking about it makes me drool), but it's a hell of a lot better than the caf.

i got free ice cream cake tonight.  yay.  that's what happens when i give a planetarium show to a buncha first-years.  yay.  i managed to babble for 45 minutes using nothing but the sky.  no slide shows, no planets... just constellations.  and i didn't even talk about currently visible planets (oops, i was going to).  i was impressed with myself.  i learned some new constellations the other night, so that helped.  but, yeah, fun stuff.

i have work to do... so i should do that, instead of sitting here babbling while watching mythbusters.
(i like mythbusters.  hell, who doesn't like mythbusters?)

planetarium, random, school, orientation, food, theatre, tv
