talk about a hardcore alarm
ok, my cell phone alarm always pisses me off because it automatically snoozes for 5 minutes if you hit any button other than the "confirm" button - this includes the volume button on the outside of the phone. so, it's really easy to accidentally snooze it. especially if you're tired and fumbling with it (as i usually am when i wake up...). and there's no way to shut it off. it's going to go off in 5 minutes and that's the end of that discussion. this morning, i actually woke up to the alarm the first time (way weird, i'm telling you!), but i accidentally hit the damn volume button when i picked it up. i decided to shut it off, thinking that might shut off the alarm. i didn't quite let it go the 5 minutes. then i turned it back. but then, right on schedule, the alarm went off.
the snooze isn't even deactivated by shutting it off.
damn.
i am just discovering now, though (i hope), that if you leave it off past the time that it's supposed to go off, the alarm will shut off.
we hope.
also this morning, i accidentally dropped my vicks stick behind my bed. it's pretty much my nighttime breathing tool. that makes me sad. but something tells me it's so much easier to just buy a new one rather than try to get it out...
