Christmas Day
Hi guys, hope you're all having an awesome Christmas Day!
We are in the heat, swimming at the moment. Backyard cricket is also happening. Britt's currently trying to show up the boys with her batting skills!
The kids are everywhere, playing with all their new toys and whatnot. Santa was very, very generous this year.
Jayden got called out before midnight last night. Busy night for police officers, so he ended up at work until about 6.30 this morning. He welcomed in Christmas with several other officers at a booze bus stop in Perth. Joys of being a cop I suppose.
So I got my official Christmas wake up at 6.30 when he got home. He brought our little dog Allie in, with a big red ribbon around her neck and a Christmas hat. Teamed with him still being in his uniform and wearing his own Christmas hat, it was quite a sight!
I was incredibly spoilt. Diamonds, holidays, so so many presents. And getting to spend the day with family and friends makes me sure I am the luckiest girl in the world.
We ended up having a late breakfast by the time all the presents were open. Pancakes, fruit salad, eggs, bacon, toast... no one went hungry, that's for sure!
And even now, we're only just setting up for lunch; we were all to hungry to eat before now!
I'm off to walk off some of this food. Think I've gained about 5kgs just by looking at it all!
