Naughty or Nice?
Merry Christmas everyone!
Just a quick message to say I hope you’re all having an awesome Christmas morning. Did you make the naughty or nice list this year?
Once we finally made it to bed, about 2.30am I think it was, we were exhausted. Even more so when children woke up at 7.15am. That’s a pretty good effort I say! Most families I know, the children are all up at 4.30am. Crazy… Nah, all the kids here did pretty well. We were all up by 8am, and that’s when we started present opening.
Jayden woke up before me, then came back with our cat and dog, all wearing Christmas hats. Then he gave me a couple of presents. It was really sweet. That was our moment, and then the kiddies woke up and we were out into the family room for present opening.
I’ve never seen so much wrapping paper in my life! So so so much. Don’t know what to do with it all.
Again this year, my Mum organised Christmas stockings for me and Jayden. After all, the kiddies wouldn’t believe in Santa if he didn’t give us big kids stockings too! LOL. And this year, I organised stockings for my parents. They were pretty impressed.
My parents haven’t given me their presents yet, and neither has Jayden. They’re holding out on me, just to tease. But that’s okay… I’ve already been so spoilt!
Breakfast is a little late today. With so many presents to open, we got a bit behind. Now it’s a big pancake and cooked brekkie; Jayden’s on pancake duty, Jamie has got the eggs and bacon going on the BBQ with Ash’s help. I contributed by chopping up some fruit for a fruit salad! LOL. All this food, we’re going to be stuffed before lunch, never mind dinner!
