RIP our beautiful girl, Jess

Goodbye Jessie, a beautiful young 15-year-old taken from us far too soon.

Yesterday we said goodbye to Jessie in a service on the foreshore at Halls Head. Most of us were decked from head to toe in purple; I wore a purple dress, Jayden and the other boys all had purple ties. It was her favourite colour. A sea of purple on the foreshore.

As sad as it was, and tragic given the circumstances, the service was beautiful. And Jessie went out in style.

Thank you to everyone that came and paid their respects to Jess, a beautiful young girl. Thoughts are with her family, and her boyfriend Harley.

After the funeral, we returned back to Hillary’s and our home which has been quite a while since I’ve been back! Great to be home, and last night for the first time, I saw our finished christmas light display. I love it! Such a Chrismassy thing to do.

I’ve had little sleep. We arrived back on Friday morning to Perth, about 3.30am. Then we stayed in a hotel, because we didn’t want to drive home especially when we had to head down to Manduarh for the funeral hours later. We picked up our luggage and my pup Ruby, who again had no issue with the flights and camped in the hotel. Exhausting.

Thank you again to everyone who came and paid their respects to Jessie. RIP beautiful girl.

Best wishes,
