Oh Emma...
I'm here occupying my time while I wait. Bloody Emma... Who gets a case of appendicitis that nearly kills them and requires two surgeries in a matter of hours? Em of course...
She's been sick for a while now? Yes, undiagnosed appendicitis that was slowly poisoning her blood. Only Emma would end up with something like that...
But the it all became unbearable and it grew worse, did she tell anyone? No, because that would be a sign of weakness in her eyes. So does she do? Pass out in her dressing room, leaving Naomi and Luke to find her when she didn't seem to be returning.
At least we know now what was causing everything. I still can't believe it went undiagnosed. Her regular doctor had just returned and was there when they brought Em in; she picked it straight away. Pity no one hadn't earlier.
So I've just come home briefly. We're spending all our time at the hospital, even sleeping. Hospital chairs are incredibly uncomfortable! We're only coming home to have a shower and get changed. As well as looking after Ruby and Em's cat.
Jayden's barely leaving her side. Matt dragged him home earlier and that's how it's been the rest of the time. Literally picking him up and kicking him out of the hospital to the car. Em's very lucky...
Em's parents are back again. Poor things. They've only been home barely a week after their holiday in Italy and Bali, then they had to come back for Em. Although I don't think they care all that much; Em's their daughter and they'll always be there for her.
Matt and Brittany are here as well. We've all just been here.
First surgery was unsuccessful; they couldn't do what they needed. So they had to take her back to ICU and but drains in. Then, hours later, she was taken to surgery again, where they could remove it all. Then she spent a little time in recovery, before going back to ICU. And only now is she beginning to make improvements. She's sleeping a lot; I think that might be pain killers and whatever she's on. She's awake sometimes, but it's not long before sleep overomes her.
So we're here, waiting patiently for her. Just wish it would take so long... We're all worried!
