Writer's Block: Do (political) opposites attract?
It depends on when they tell me about their views, if someone says something that I strongly disagree with in the early stages of a relationship I cannot help but spend less time wanting to get to know them. If you tell me on the second date that you are strongly pro-choice and there is no reason what-so-ever for a woman to 'kill' her baby, well fuck you and get away. But if someone I am good friends with tells me that they quite enjoy hunting, I won't like it but as long as they don't want me to come with them that's fine. But no matter how far into the relationship we are, if you say you are racist, homophobe or sexist, I will instantly hate you.
