(no subject)
last weeks meet was far better than imagined , i think being so nervous all day and running with those girls made me run much better , also thinking i was going to come in way last or get lapped in the 800 made my placement seem much better ( i think i came im 6th out of like 10 or 11, behind the carmel cloud obv.) but yeah the 4x8 was amazing becuse nina had to run the 3000 right before that and i had to run the 800 with only one race inbetween so we thought we were all going to run 3:30's but we managed to come in second , no one ran good times but we actually pulled off godd placement.
another meet tommorow , but i just cant seem to get excited. im sure its only a matter of time ( and my times lol)
visiting hartford gave me a different perspective on everything , i loved everything about the campus even the tiny dorms , i basically felt like it was the only place i wanted to apply. But then they showed us the track and track practice and it made me think , i need to be running in college , iwould just be so bored with out it( it helps me focus on other things aswell) and i really dont think that i could devote myself wholly to doing art alllllll the time. so i have basically decided i will only apply to Division 3 or possibly division 2 schools that offer fine studio arts, because that is what i really want. so now i am on the hunt.
so bye bye University of Hartford and your DI track.( even thought i loved you :(
