My grandparents' 50th anniversary is in October and so far all of their grandchildren are doing something at the party except my cousin Elyse and me. My brother is playing his guitar for background music, my sister is making an anniversary video and taking pictures, and Elyse's brother is filming the party. So the two of us have to come up with something to do! My grandma says we can do the guestbook, but that sounds more like a pity responsibility.
The only real thing is do something musical, but I'm not too talented as far as that goes. The only thing I'm really good at is writing, but I don't see how I could possibly spin that into an anniversary party. Unless I do a poem? I'm not that great at poetry, but I guess if I took my time it might turn out nice.
I need to think. I want to do something special for them. They are the best grandparents in the world.
