Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. And Double Yuck.
I heard that if you have your flu shots, you're more likely to get it than if you don't (screwy system, huh?). Well, I didn't have my flu shots, shame on me, and I have had one hell of a weekend.
Luckily I had to spend the weekend with my grandma because my dad was restaining the majority of the floors in our house, and she's a nurse so she took good care of me. I thought it was just a normal cold at first, but around Saturday it started to get really bad. Right now, I'm to the point where as long as I'm sitting or lying down I'm OK. But if I stand up, I get all dizzy and my legs start shaking. I haven't eaten much in the last couple of days, which sucked because my grandma cooks really good food. And I wasted just about all of the weekend sleeping. But I'm gradually getting better. I'm back home with no one to take care of me, though. My dad will be home from work soon, but he doesn't know what to do with me when I'm sick.
I don't know if I'll go back to school tomorrow. I might be able to squeeze in one more sick day. I don't like to think about all I've missed, though. Too much homework to make up. Yuck.
Well, I'm going to go back under my covers and sleep some more. Just wanted to check in with the internet world and make sure nothing exploded.
