What a waste of time.
I went to this first-year event today, that was supposed to be about stuff you should know by the end of your first year at Mount Holyoke. The speakers talked about how they were miserable unhappy science majors, but then they did self-designed majors in humanities, and went on to make lots of money and live happy fulfilling lives. Then for the second half I got to listen to some woman talk about exactly how she got her job writing romance novels. And the free cup we got wasn't very pretty either.
