just think about it...in a few month's time 2007 na. ang bilis talaga ng panahon. time really flies like an eagle. or whatever. i think that is from a song by...SEAL? whatever. well he is fucking heidi klum. so i have nothing more to say.

the dvd player will turn 11 years old. first "appeared" in november 1996 in japan :p. i remember our first dvd player was this toshiba thing that my uncle gave us and i remember at that time that freaking toshiba player costs around P25,000.00. man that was expensive. that freak lasted only a few months coz my uncle kinda took it away. binawi niya lol.
the second was a pioneer dvd mini compo all in one and that was around P21,000.00. it doesnt work anymore.
now my lexing dvd player, quiapo version, i got it for only P1,500.00. cheap eh. :p and it plays almost all kinds of discs and formats. including divx files. BUT couldnt play dvd + r discs. weird.
the konka dvd player, my gift to the family...nabili ko ng P2,500.00. and that was 3 years ago. and that huge thing (by today's standards) still works well. proof that chinese brand = not always not good. :p
and y'all remember how expensive the original and pirated dvds at that time? damn i got my first dvd porn in greenhills for a whopping P500.00. :p lol now you can get one for P50. :p
blade runner THE sci fi flick will turn 25. based on a novel by THE philip k. dick and directed by THE ridley scott and stars THE harrison ford and THE edward james olmos :p and THE rutger hauer and this being THE cult classic that it is now...need i say more? yes. im excited about the 25th anniversary theatrical release next year and the FINAL CUT dvd edition supervised no less by mr. scott.
boogie nights, one of my favorite movies will turn 10. still loving that scorsese-esque intro scene to the tune of "the best of my love" and alfred molina singing sister christian and jesse's girl. classic.
