It's cold outside!

(A musical selection.)

Hello, world!

I'm sorry it's been so long since I've said something to you. I haven't done much lately, but for some reason I feel like I've been really busy!

The Fred took me to a new tallpeople nest, and the tallpeople alpha came and met us. He said that some of those team jerks got away from him while he was distracted by the piece of metal falling down, and it was our fault, so we had to get them back. The Fred agreed, and one of his friends showed up--the one who's all :| all the time--to help.

It's been cold for a long time--almost a whole moon!--but it was super duper especially cold in one part of the nest. The Fred went into a big metal box full of cold, and met a lot of tallpeople who we had to fight to get past. When I say 'we', I mean Fire Pig. (Though the Fred calls her something weird that means 'Fire Pig' but doesn't sound like 'Fire Pig'.*)

Finally we got to the back of the box--it kind of reminded me of a nestleader's chamber, actually--and found a bunch of the team jerks--I think they call themselves plasma?** They were protecting another guy, but Fire Pig beat up all their people, and then some more tallpeople came in and dragged them away.

Then the alpha came in and said we'd done a good job and we could fight him now. But he didn't mean right now--he went away to his chamber. The Fred's letting Fire Pig rest before she has to fight some more.

So all in all, an okay day... except the Fred said he's going to be using me again soon. I was enjoying not having to fight!

*Translator's note: like most pokemon, Bubblegum communicates using a form of limited telepathy that translates its chirps and squeaks and grunts and other sounds into meaning in the hearer's ear. (Pokemon are more able to understand this than humans, but humans can acquire the ability with practice.) Thus it doesn't quite understand that Fred actually named his Emboar "Cerdo de Fuego".

**Bubblegum doesn't understand this is a proper noun, but it has heard the word enough times to pick up the meaning 'burning hot gas'. In the interests of brevity, 'plasma' has been substituted.
