Okie Dokie time for another prompt...
I think O'Brien wrote this book for three reasons...
1.) To inform people like you and me (an average American) about the events that happened to the soliders while living and fighting in Vietnam.
2.) To come into peace with himself.
3.) To honor all the men who fought and gave their lives in Vietnam.
I really can't think of any other reasons that he would write the book besides those, so okie dokie, if you can think of anymore reasons, feel free to let me know!!!
