Oh man. I was going through some of my earliest LJ posts just now, since I needed to find a post I'd made on my heart condition, and guess what? I actually used to POST about stuff. Like, long posts about random shit. Go figure! I haven't actually made a long post in a while. *LOL*
All the posts were also completely stuffed with comments by
applecede and
streetscribbles. I miss you two so much. :/ Knowing all the people I know on LJ now is really great and so much fun, but sometimes I really miss the time when I didn't really know anyone besides you two and
_slashaddict and we'd spam each other's posts like crazy. ♥ Ah well.
Okay! People have been posting songs lately, so I figured I'd throw my two cents in. Not Christmas songs, since, well ... everyone else is already doing that, heh. But I know some of you only get songs from LJ, so what about some music by a Danish group? (With English lyrics, don't worry. ;))
I found two songs today by a group called Safri Duo that I really love. Safri Duo consists of two Danish dudes who can work the drums like nobody's business. All the drums and percussion you hear in the background, that's all them. A couple of years ago they used to release songs that were just instrumental, but then they found this American dude by the name of Clark Anderson, and he agreed to sing on a couple of their songs. The songs sorta have a jungle/dance feel to them, which ... sounds weird, I know, but give it a try. I think they're really great to shake your bootay to. :D
