Precious like precious things!
I'm taking a break from all the bittybang madness (exciting madness!) to compile a post. Because, you see, what I do when I wanna procrascinate is trawl all over YouTube. So it's safe to say that I've been doing that a lot lately. That gave me ample opportunity to explore this fascination with bandom that I have!
So this post is in no way one of those let-me-convert-you-to-my-fandom! things. I just. REALLY need to ramble about Panic, okay. Because I love Pete/Patrick, I find Mikey Way really pretty, but I'm pretty sure that Panic? Are my FAVORITES.
So this is Panic, you guys! Here is Spencer Smith, Ryan Ross, Brendon Urie and Jon Walker. And they are IN LOVE with each other, okay? Let's disregard their girlfriends for a second, although I'm sure they're lovely people! They're a big pile of puppy LOVE for each other.
And this is another thing. They are the girliest bunch of guys ever. I don't know why that delights me so much, but I'm just gonna bask in it. Pink hoodies! Skinny jeans! Elaborate make-up on stage! And then there's Jon, who's just all greasy MAN and at first glance does not fit with all these dainty-looking guys, and oh my god, I love it, I don't even have the words.

Which, slightly less dainty! But I really loved the girly skinny-jeans phase, so you're gonna have to bear with me.
So here's the thing. Spencer is the guy who got me even remotely interested in Panic. Patrick Stump pulled me into bandom, and I was perfectly happy in my little Pete/Patrick bubble thank you very much, but THEN. Goddamn Spencer.
The thing is, I will sadly admit that I thought he was REALLY weird-looking at first. People were posting about him with big flaily caps-lock all over my flist, and I just did not get it. He's still weird-looking to me, but a BEAUTIFUL weird, my god. The thing that did it for me was finding footage and seeing him in motion. I so distinctly remember just randomly clicking on a Panic interview, and then Spencer started speaking and I was all, "UM, HOLD UP."
Bandom has made me realize that I have a thing for speaking voices. He's got such an amazing voice, I don't even know. It's smooth and deep and hot as HELL. After that I was completely sold and now he's my favorite. FAAAAAVORITE. ILU, SPENCER SMITH.
This very quickly led to me loving Jon/Spencer, because YOU GUYS. I LOVE JON/SPENCER. They make funny things happen to my insides. They are an epic love thing and I will get more into that later, but for now, please put all your attention into this picture. Because it may be one of my favorite pictures ever. They're sitting on a rooftop just quietly talking while Jon smokes, and I don't know, okay, it hits me straight in the heart. They are my Panic OTP forever and ever.
And then we have Jon Walker! Who would be my favorite if Spencer hadn't pulled his strange voodoo magic on me. Because no one is as cool as Jon Walker, okay? It's just not possible. I don't even know how Panic EXISTED before he came along. I have this thing where Jon has insecurities because he joined the band as a replacement and maybe he doesn't realize how much they rest of the guys LOVE HIM, and it just pulls at my heart strings. Panic GSF may be my Panic OTP, I CANNOT DECIDE.
Not only is Jon a hotass, but he's hilarious and talented and all 'oh, Brendon wants to hang all over me? Sure, okay, and then we can smoke up afterwards.' HE IS PERFECTION.
Which brings me to Brendon! Brendon is a puppy dog the same way Nick is, in that he loves his boys and wants to show it ALL the time! And I am NOT complaining. Brendon is so fascinating to me. He's this huge ball of energy that can be totally obnoxious at times, but then he makes the other guys laugh just as much as they make him laugh, and he so clearly loves all of them, okay, it's just obvious. And I love that about him. And he's a Mormon who, clearly, strayed from his beliefs, and I don't know, I just think he's fascinating.
I sort of didn't notice him until I slowly started getting into Spencer/Brendon, because I am a Spencer whore and will read any pairing he features in, but then I did notice him and now I just find him so presh.
So, Ryan Ross. (They all have such great last names, I sort of need to repeat them constantly.) I have this thing with him. He doesn't always reel me in and I don't find him particularly attractive, but THEN.
He does the most beautiful stage make-up on himself. (Check it out! SEAGULLS.) And he wears rose vests and is all cocked hips and attitude. But then you listen to him in interviews, and so much of the time he sounds so much older than his years that when you see him laughing it's all, whoa, what just happened? And sometimes I just wanna pet him from here until eternity. Because even though his relationship with his father wasn't great, he still lost him at such an early age and he's had to grow up so fast.
And he also writes all their lyrics! Which makes me love him a lot. I love the way he fights so hard to make sure his vision stays intact, and I love the way he loves this band.
So now that I have shown you pictures, I will show you footage! Which was the reason I fell for them in the first place.
This was the first thing of theirs that I saw and had to watch REPEATEDLY. Because Jon is brilliance personified, and every time Spencer speaks I get starry-eyed, and Brendon and Ryan are cute as hell. My favorite thing is Spencer censoring, because him and Jon are IN LOVE, okay? They amuse each other so much. Also check out 5:21 when Jon's hand on Spencer's shoulder just FLIES down as soon as they start filming. PANIC OTP FOREEEEEVER.
Another one of my early faves! Spencer is so chatty, which is always a plus for me. And Brendon and Ryan are such boyfriends, particulary when Ryan gets all insulted and Brendon tries to avoid the fight they're so obviously going to have later. PRECIOUS. I also love Spencer's story about him and Ryan making bombs, because they've known each other since they were FIVE, and did I mention that I love every Spencer pairing? Best frieeeends. And I love 2:52, okay, the way Jon GRINS at Spencer after that joke. SIGH.
This one is just hilarious for the way they crack each other's shit up. Jon/Ryan is PRECIOUS. And Spencer once again proves how hot it is to be a little bit of a man-bitch. I love Ryan's socks.

Because even though he goes all quiet in interviews sometimes (which happened a lot during Pretty Odd promo for some reason?), check out the way he LOOKS at all of them. Each guy gets such affectionate glances! Oh, Spencer. And Jon is once again the most amazing thing ever.

So this is all for 2:39. Ryan and Spencer went to a Backstreet concert when they were ten and had a kick-ass time, and okay, we all know that the way to my heart is through Backstreet. Consider me in love with Ryan.
I don't actually know how endearing I find Jon/Ryan until I see them like this. They are most likely stoned out of their heads, but WHO CARES, because Jon makes Ryan act his age and I want to draw hearts EVERYWHERE.
I always love seeing how musicians work, so this was really cool for me. It always gives a great look on their dynamics. They rented a secluded cabin in the mountains so they could work on their album, okay? IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER.
I am just in the middle of watching this now, but it looks SUPER CUTE. They've all had such random jobs omg. Jon and Spencer having to share a mic is never a bad thing. ETA: JON AND SPENCER SMELLING EACH OTHER, OKAY? OKAY.
While we're at it, have some of their videos! Musically, I will I'm more into Fall Out Boy's stuff, but these last few singles from Panic I've really loved. Plus, the videos are DARLING.
