Ahaha, oh man. Tonight my mom told me that I reminded her of Scarlett Johansson. I was like, "...where do you get that comparison?" and she said, "well, your lips. And you're pretty like her." And yeah, moms and all, but. Scarlett Johansson? I've never heard that one before ( Read more... )

Do you suppose it's your shoes?

It shouldn't be. I went out and got some ridiculously expensive ones last summer where they tested them for about 45 minutes on me, so I really hope it's not the shoes.

Where in your knees? Ashley has been having a terrible time with IT band syndrome. If it's the outside of your knees, google ITBS and see if you think that's it.

It's the outside, yeah. And the lower part of both knees. I was also thinking of trying a crosstrainer and see if maybe that gave the same effect, because doing that would definitely be easier on my knees. But I will definitely google that, thank you. :)

i've never had issues with my knees but i do have problems with my calf, especially my right. when i saw my doctor she was pretty clueless because it would only hurt when i ran or when i pressed my finger in a particular place but otherwise it was okay. her only advice for me was to stop exercising so much and she sent me an for a shin x-ray. i know doctors are smart and stuff but if it wasn't cramp/strain/torn muscle then they'll probably refer you to a physio. my dad suggested physio/my friends recommended acupuncture but that's private, do you have it free on your health service? maybe they're worth a try.

and: you're WAY prettier than johansson.

You know, I am actually starting acupuncture soon anyway because of my psoriasis, so maybe I could ask if they could help with my calf as well. That would be fantastic. What a great idea, thank you! I think with me (and maybe you as well) it has something to do with the tibia being over-exerted, and the only thing that supposedly helps is lots of rest until it's ready to go again. Or something called tiger balm.

Aww man. You're too sweet. ♥
