Today is my day for the May challenge! I was gonna post some of the five billion ficlet requests that I have stored up, but unexpectedly I ended up being out of the house for 12 hours today, so that didn't happen ( Read more... )

First things first, I'm SO happy you decided to share this! I've been dying to read more since you told me you had been working on it. Second, it is such a lovely morning scene, even though everyone's grumpy as hell. Like you don't know this already, but you have a way with words that brings everything to life in an instant. I can see and hear everything happening, and that's such a great feeling while reading.

Howie's mug! Kevin's morning yoga! And AJ's smoking! I want more. I NEED more.

Aww, KRISTINE! You are so fantabulous! Thank you for the extensive feedback and all the nice words. You can't see me, but I'm blushing a little right now. But thank you so much, really, because I struggle with my writing a lot and I'm so glad that it captures you. ♥

i loved this scene, i liked the detail about picking the non wobbly chair and i love snarky uncaffeinated aj. i haven't read fifteen miles yet but this worked really well on it's own!

Thank you so much for reading it even though you haven't read Fifteen Miles! I'm glad it was interesting to you, since it is a very slow scene. :) And I've always had a fondness for thinking up quirky little details to add to stories, so it's nice to hear that other people pick up on those things too.

Thank you! That's so nice, I'm so glad to hear that. There's still only one chapter of Fifteen Miles up, unfortunately the rest of it is still stuck in my brain. Hopefully it'll lodge loose soon. :)
