You know you're grown up when you get excited about carpet shopping.
Thanks so much to all of you who commented on the meme! I have to say, I'm ridiculously excited about JM's suggestion, and apparently four of you agreed. I'm definitely going to be tackling that challenge. It would probably work better for me if it was Howie, because really, these days there isn't a single intra-band Howie pairing that I can't get into (he's the only Boy that applies to, wtf!), but I'm due for a bit of a challenge. AJ/Kevin and (eep!) AJ/Nick, here I come!
So, in completely unrelated news, I went carpet shopping today! Actually my parents went carpet shopping, but I tagged along and ended up falling in love with a carpet of my own. I've accumulated quite the collection for whenever I move out, man. A carpet, shelves, chairs, wine glasses, plates, etc. I can't wait till whenever I get to decorate my own apartment. I love redecorating a ridiculous amount.
I haven't updated about my real life in a while, have I? Well, I started working at yet a new place last week. Actually, it's same place as the kindergarten I work in, only I've been moved to the preschool wing. It's steady work for a whole month! So much moneto for Mette-y! Anyways, it's really cool, because this time I get to stay with the same group of kids for the whole month. (Kids are usually divided into groups of 8-11 with three adults attached to each group.) Usually I'm tossed around all the groups so I don't really get to know the kids - like, what their habits are, who their parents are, what they need for nap time, stuff like that. And my kids are ADORABLE x 10. That age group from 6 months to three years is really my favorite. They're not skittish about being hugged, and really, it's just a job where I find myself smiling pretty much the whole work day. I still don't think this is something I could do for the rest of my life, but for now it's perfect.
It's been a long week, though (38 hours, gah!), so I slept 12 hours last night and I'm still completely exhausted. I'll go watch some Fresh Prince of Bel Air and then it's off to bed.
