It took me a little while to figure it out too! Start a new journal post, and copy and paste your fic straight from FF.net. This is really annoying though, cause all your italicized and bold stuff undoes itself! =0 I LOVE italics, so this was horrible for me, having to read through the ENTIRE billion long thing and re-italicize everything. Gah!
Once that was done, I highlighted the majority of the fic (everything except the header), and used LiveJournal cut! That's the button 7th from the size box, right between LiveJournal poll and Insert/Edit Table. A box should come up, asking you to name your cut. I named it the first sentence of my fic. This creates a link, so your post isn't super duper uber long, but you can still have the whole thing! (unfortunately, there's a word limit, so long fics like mine have to be spliced in two! T_T )
Hrrmm, I actually can't remember how I did the divider line between the fic and my ANs. I might have just spaced across the page and then underlined. . .
Join a few communities, like ffvii_clack, zack__cloud, or ffvii_yaoi, and just copy and paste your journal entry! I think that's it! If you have any trouble, let me know, and I'll try to help you out! =)
