School Wide Scare...
So this morning I heard on the news that a third-grade student was assulted in the bathroom of my school yesterday. Wha??? We didn't even hear about it yesterday! And it happened in the morning. So everyone found out on the news and it was so scary. That's all everyone talked about. And there were all these rumors about what was going to happen to our school next. Finally a letter came around explaining the situation and how they were taking action. The letter mentioned that no one was actually hurt and officials took action right away. During luch news of the true series of events leaked out. Two girls were going to bathroom when they saw a man inside. The man freaked and ran out, pushing one of the girls on his way out. That was it. And the news calls it assult?!? It caused a school-wide scare. Some thought that the girl even got sexually assulted! I mean it was a push. She wasn't hurt or anything. I mean it's important that we're aware that this happened so we know how to improve security at our school but honestly I think the media could let out a little more information. Or else everyone's going to think horribly of our school which is really a good school.
