Brigs, last weekend :(
This was the best weekend that I've ever had in a band/guard activity hands down.
Here's some highlights, rather then give all the boring details that only like 2 people will care about.
*We had to sit through 3 hours of bands at i&e friday night and no one wanted to be there. So I sat with Stephie, Amy G, Dave, Matt, and Pat for a little while on the ground. We kept ourselves entertained. :)
*The bus ride on the way back from i&e.
*Hanging out at the hotel with everyone. Dave naming everyone by animals, hilarious.
*Krista "Shut your mauf!" Pat "I haven't heard that one in 2 hours." That kid cracks me up.
*Getting to know everyone better and meeting new people.
*Retreat at finals (Amy ;), ahh the simple things).
*Placeing 2nd in finals!!
*Getting 2nd in guard!! (by one stupid tenth)
*Having Mel say she was proud of me, that girl has helped me tons.
*No run-throughs Saturday or Sunday! Yay for great practices!
*My crazy roommates.
*Sunday night festivities, it was actually quite fun, despite having the cops show up at the hotel, whoops.
I've been in this little bubble of happiness today :D :D. Actually throughout the weekend. It's a wonderful feeling.
I must have fallen asleep like 4 times today. On the bus on the way home, a few times at my house and on the drive back up to oswego. I'm sooo tired. But it was soo worth is cause these last fews days rocked. I'll miss everyone tons! Can't wait to see people at band shows. I'll know people in other groups now, yay!
