I know most folks here either (a) have no need or plan to take the GRE, or (b) have already taken the GRE, not to mention that this is a pretty small sample size. However, I figured I'd advertise here first, before doing something like CraigsList.
I'm planning to take the
GRE (General test) this fall, likely mid-Oct, and was looking for someone to study with or stay on track. If you're in the area, maybe we could meet downtown once a week; or if not convenient, maybe just check in once or twice a week on AIM or something.
Me: geek with cs/psychology tendencies, relatively good at test-taking, not always consistent with the studying.
You: someone else who doesn't think it's necessary to pay $1000 to The Man for a canned course and possible fellow travelers, when the internet and friends pages exist.
I have: an account at
www.number2.com, relatively good math skills, good tutoring/coaching skills
You have: a prep book or knowledge of what prep books are good.
Any takers? Any thoughts? Feel free to share with mutual friends.
Thanks!
