Fear Before @ The Living Room

Nov 27, 2008 21:28

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving. This day was completely boring and lonely. I'm thankful for seeing Fear Before, twice in one week. Drove out to Mt. Vernon, IL yesterday which took five hrs during the day, but only four on the way back. 600 miles worth of a relaxing drive. This brings me to my 8th time seeing them and it'll never be enough.

set list:
Review Our Lives (Epic)
Fear Before Doesn't Listen To People Who Don't Like Them
Given To Dreams
The State of Texas vs Fear Before
Mouth
I'm Fine Today
High As A Horse
The Waiting Makes Me Curious
Should Have Stayed in the Shallows
Stay Weird
Get Your Life Together

I forgot the order as well, but they started & ended with the same songs as in Chicago. I was so excited to hear "I'm Fine Today." Oh, and Rob of HHLL did his guest vocals on "Get Your Life Together" which was sweet.
I met Nathan there after seeing his LJ post in the Fear Before community and ironically enough I'm friends with him on lastfm. I left shortly after their set and he complained that I didn't let him say bye to me, ha. :/ I've met so many people off lastfm that it's getting ridiculous.

I'm also thankful for:
meeting a ton of lovely people, mostly dudes, this year
M83
Tumblr for inspiration
my ipod, as always.
my trusty sidekick (for emails on the go mostly)
the current weather
& that's probably it.

fear before, thanksgiving
