(no subject)
So just to recap........
- I've got a job
- I've also had a really good meeting about my music production this week and am meeting up with a director/producer next week - woooooooooot wooooooot!
- My Mum was offered the job she went for on Wednesday down in Manchester and has another job interview next week too, which I think she should also go for.
- My Mum and Dads offer on the hosue they want has now been accepted - it's REALLY REALLY nice as well.......plus it has an extra 'bungalow' that my Aunt will be moving into, it's even got it's own address.
- I'm currently looking for options of what I am going to do for living arrangements -and have started discussing my financial problems with my parents *lifts huge weight from her shoulder*.
- I get to see my boy tonight and tomorrow - altho don't really have ANY money!
- This week I've cried more times than I ever have in one week these were tears of joy, happiness, anger, boredom and generally being scared and not knowing what the fuck is happening or going to happen.
- I've just contacted my uber lovely friend Emma who is currently living my dream out in America by travelling to all the places I want to go to - to ask that when she gets back at the end of September if she wants to move in with me. I REALLY HOPE SHE CAN/DOES WANT TO!
- I've been told to contact the Equal Opportunities office after being sexually descriminated against after applying for a job I am over qualified for - after being told blatently that I'm female........thats the problem for a position as a trainee digital technician - which is 'suitable for school leavers' as full training will be given - MUPPETS, how fucking dare you?????????? I have a degree in digital television, I am NOT scared of a hgard days work or working with chemicals - but the guy said that and I quote "this is a male dominated work place and that the females that we have employed in the past have left because they were worried about their nails as they had to use 'chemicals'" Anyone who knows me.......would know I bite my nails anyways which i pointed out to him, I have a DEGREE IN DIGITAL TELEVISION and it wouldn't take me long to learn on the job. FUCKERS. I actually nearly lost it on the phone to the first place I was told to call saying that i was 'disgusted' by being spoken to like that and felt that I had/have an equal right to apply for any job I wanted. I could feel the tears building and my throat getting all tight and stuff. arrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!
