"BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!"

Bailey screamed as she ran down the stairs, throwing a quick look over her shoulder to see her brother chasing down after her. She quickly sped through the living room, past the kitchen, and down the side hallway, rushing towards the room at the end of it.

"Helphelphelphelphelp!" she shrieked, disregarding the taped 'DO NOT ENTER' sign and bursting into her oldest brother's room. Ignoring Blake's complaints as he sat up on his bed and tossed away his (questionable) reading material, she quickly ran to hide behind him, ducking behind the bed just as Julian burst in after her.

She squeaked and kneeled behind Blake, peeking over his shoulder as Julian walked into the room determinedly, glaring threateningly at his cowering little sister.

"Woah, hold it!" Blake said sternly, glaring back and forth between his younger siblings. "Lian, chill out, Bailey, let go!" He yanked his arm away from Bailey, who seemed to think that maybe attaching herself to her brother would keep her somewhat safe from the other's wrath.

"What’s going on over here?" Blake asked.

Julian was quick to answer, his angry gaze still fixed on Bailey. "She stole my X-Men comic! The one I spent a whole week bidding for on eBay! I haven't even had time to look at it yet!"

"I didn't steal it!" Bailey shot back, still hiding behind Blake. "I borrowed it! It's totally different, I was gonna give it back!"

"But you didn't ask! Therefore it's considered stealing!"” Julian argued, crossing his arms sternly.

"It is not!" the younger girl said indignantly, finally coming out from behind Blake's back for the sake of an argument.

But Blake cut it short, putting his hand up to put an end to their bickering. "Okay. Bailey, give Lian his comic book back. Lian, stop threatening to kill her, read the comic, then let Bailey borrow it. Then when Bailey's done, I get it," he added with a semi-shrug.

Bailey and Julian exchanged glances before they both shrugged, wordlessly agreeing to the terms.

"Alright, now get the hell out of my room. And next time you could at least bother to knock," he muttered, throwing an embarrassed glance at the corner of the room where his 'magazine' had landed.

Bailey bit her lip to stifle a giggle as she got up and headed for the door, exiting the room behind Lian.

"Have fun," she waved to her oldest brother before closing the door to avoid the flying pillow.
