A Human Interest Story
Or the Gory Details and All
Last year in THE JINN,the dirigo group opened a genie's bottle to see what's inside. This year, we decided to open Pandora's Box.
A HUMAN INTEREST STORY is a voyeur's side-trip into what makes us watch. It takes stories Like Columbine, the mixed bag of tragedy served up to us in bite-sized pieces on the news every night, and the fluffy end-of-the-newscast pieces that are meant to make us feel better and mixes them up into a Jolt Cola and Swanson TV Dinner cocktail.
A HUMAN INTEREST STORY opens at The Blue Theater on February 10th and runs through March 4th . Performances are on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 PM.
Catch one of the most innovative, devastating, and compelling plays we've come across in a long, long time
Tickets are $17 general admission, $13 for senior citizens, ACoT members, and Austin Script Works members, and $10 for students. Call 512-371-0554 or visit
www.thedirigogroup.com (and click on "Box Office") to make reservations now.
As always, the dirigo group promises to send you out of the theater in a different state than the one in which you entered.
