In recent news: I was officially accepted into the Packaging school this semester. I finally got in..
I went to my advisor this past Tuesday and learned I only have two semesters of class and a 6 month internship left and I will be done with my bachelors degree here at MSU!?! That boggles my mind.. I thought I had at least a year and a half left of classes minimum. It turns out I need a 17 credit semester and a 14 credit semester and I'll be done with school.. Crazy!!

This Friday I have a big interview for a 6-month interview at Behr Automotive (german auto part company). I'm really nervous for it... It would be good and bad if I were to get this internship.
Pros:
-Paid
-It's in troy so I could live at home for free
-I need a 6 month internship to graduate
-I would end up having to take classes in the fall, and if everything works out, skremf will be here for his freshman year that fall
Cons:
-During my last semester here at MSU
-I have a 12 month lease signed for next year and I could possibly have to pay almost $4,000 to not live in it
-Having to go back to class after the internship may mean they won't hire me full time after
-I don't necessarily want to work in the auto industry in MI
-Alot of traveling overnight for this job.. I like to travel, but overnight is killer
-They say that after you work in the auto industry for packaging, it's pretty difficult to get a job for packaging in another field

I don't know... I mean, I need an internship, and I'm gonna give this interview a good shot but I don't know if this specific internship is at the right time. Who knows.. If I go to the interview and they like me, maybe I could possibly work with them for a different time frame.

My current class load this semester is pretty light. I'm only taking 13 credits, when I usually take 16 minimum every semester. I'm not too happy about it, but I needed to get into the packaging school before I would be able to enroll in anymore classes.

-AMS 270-comics in america: so far the easiest class I have ever taken, we read comic books and watch movies for lecture, it glorious..
-STT 200-stats: lame and easy so far, but I know it will get harder..
-PKG 221-glass and metal packaging: pretty straight forward, we have a cool final project which is design a glass container and enter it into a competition..
-CEM 143-orgo: quite possibly the worst class yet.. I go to lecture and walk out more confused than I was going in, the topics we're covering boggle my mind, I DO NOT understand them at all... I can usually understand stuff after a while.. It's been a month and things just keep getting more and more confusing..
I guess I need to find a tutor or something for it because none of it makes any sense to me. It seems as soon as something clicks, we have 30 more topics that we should've mastered by now... It simply sucks...

I'm going home this weekend to practice for my German club's trip out to Pittsburgh to play for their club's anniversary party. They specifically asked our club to play for them cuz we're the shit! haha I think it's pretty cool that our club is being recognized as one of the best stubemusi groups in and around the gau as of late. We will be traveling out to Pitt. next weekend and checkin' out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I'm pretty excited for that!

That's enough for now. I felt like an update was in order..
