C. and I got engaged just before Christmas.

But the wedding was giving us indigestion.

• We wanted it small, but our guest list grew to 200.
• Finding a wedding dress was going to be nightmare in a world where weddings have become an industry.

One hint though, from those people that got married on a Wednesday all of a sudden, send out wedding announcements. That way you can still get the gifts maybe.

We're having our "spiritual ceremony" in April or May -- we'll get our gifts then. And it will be optional, of course.
