For me, the pain was seeing the great big hole, right next to the former Karma spot, that was at one time Fool's Paradise, the first comic book store I ever frequented back in those heady days of the early/mid-eighties. I would my comics on Thursday and go to Garcia's for a slice of pizza while you read them. *sigh*
I wonder what kind of trendy vendatorium will go into that space?
I refuse to buy CDs at Wal-Mart. They force record companies to give them censored versions of CDs (and they censor the silliest things), and dont tell the consumer they're not getting the real thing.

It was on my mind the entire time I was writing that post. Mostly because I started frequenting it in HS.
So, where do people buy their music now? Is there anyplace left in Bloomington aside from the big boxes? Even Disc Jockey folded.

Plus there's growing old and being responsible for my own money...
It usually ends up being Amazon, with occasional purchases from Borders, B&N, Discount Den, and TD's.
Sadly, I no longer have the will to sit around for half the day intently listening to a new CD over and over again.
Oh to be young and foolish once more.
