This new policy came down from the Corporate Office on High in which we are not allowed to come to work when the schools are closed. We either have to make up the time or use vacation days. Well, I've missed 2 days now, and there's no way I can make up 16 hours on Saturday, which is when our pay period ends. And I have no vacation time to use until July.
So, this = much less monies on my next check. This makes me sad. Also, it is further proof that I'm not actually "salaried" as they claim I am. They need to change this policy fast, because people are going to start quitting over this shit. It really is shady to claim we are salaried, but dock us pay when uncontrollable circumstances arise.
Having 2 days off in below zero weather is not fun. I'm bored.
