I made a New Year's Resolution. After reviewing many of the republican candidates I have decided that Canada is a fine place to escape to, before all rational and free-thinking people get herded into camps and gassed. I am preparing a sacfirice of Oscar-Meyer Turkey breast to any gods that are listening (I know, not very rational)  to pray that my vote will somehow carry more weight and result in the election of someone decent (though many of the democrats will cause hardworking and hard minded people to leave before their own personal Final Solution). If any of these idiotic, charismatic nutcases like Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee become our next president I have resolved to flee to Canada and gather a force to take my home back, lest if be plunged into a thousand years of darkness.

On a brighter and less frightening note I am hoping to become involved in something exciting and fun for the New Year's Eve. If anyone has the ability to join me then we can work out a nice plan together. It should involve movies, maybe some drinking (It IS the festival of Lord Cronus after all; I have money if someone has a supplier) some kind of dinner (I would be happy to cook) and board games.

We got a dog recently from my uncle. She is named Summer and is the cutest dog you will ever know. She doesn't stink either like many dogs, and is very playful. Bubba is getting nicely used to her as well. Even now he is sitting on my lap as I type this, only occasionally looking behind himself nervously when Summer yawns around the corner.

Christmas turned out peacefully, as my mother was insulted at us telling her she would have to have a hotel room. The only drawback (and it was a major one) was that my sister was trapped in New York as well. Oh well. Hardly a reasonable price to pay for a sincere and friendly holiday.

It feels good to post again after an entire holiday of neglect; a holiday I am fast growing bored of. Lonliness is suffocating and the allure of sitting home all day stalking the internets is nearly waned. With a couple weeks left of holiday I hope to be able to have a few good outings with friends. I am free at all times, but I suppose I should take the initiative if I really want to hang out with anyone.

Bubba was eating crab food earlier and I learned it was made out of mostly fish. This explains a lot.
