Long Day
I'm surprised. I actually woke up for the parade. They set off from the cemetery at 11:00, so that wasn't too early. Haha, I was with my aunt there, and it was just so funny. I now know where my dyslexia of numbers came from...ahhhhhh, my uncle was like "Oh geez, you too! Your aunt could never work in a bank!" haha, always something. Then there was a person in a dalmation suit in the back of the fire truck that looked so funny. Furry!
And when the ambulances and stuff drove by, they blow their horns, and my aunt just turns to me and seriously says, "that's how you know they're coming!" haha, so now you see where I get it from. And also my dad, that's where my crude humor comes from. Oh I'm a mix of weirdness.
Then we went to Waterfront Mary's for lunch. I've never been before. It's a nice place, but the food is just okay. It's mostly a bar though.
We finally went to Petco too, and I bought a really nice habitat for my frog, and one of those hampster tubes for him to hide in and swim through. So much better now, he can swim more freely and he looks happier. Hehe, he's so cute. He was in the tube shoveling more sand into it with his little hands. I'll have to get a real picture of him soon.
And we finally bought faucets for the upstairs bathroom. Really nice brass that's not really polished and has a really cool look to it I can't explain, and A nice sleek modern design. Expensive, but nice.
Then we stopped at Wendy's to pick up dinner for my brother, so me and my dad went in to order, and the lady looks up at us with this look to give us our total, and all she says was "666........are you sure you don't want to order anything else?" haha, my dad just told her that that # is considered lucky in other countries...she laughed and said it isn't here!
Ah weird day. felt backwards too...maybe because after I came home I took a 3hr nap then made eggs, bacon and toast for dinner at 9 mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. bacon.
