So summer break is over and we've been back in school for a week but, what a summer it was. I know its a little late, but here's a recap of why it was so great this year.
-While it wasn't technically during summer break, it was close enough so I'll include Gino's birthday party at the T-Rex restaurant.
-Went to "The FX Show" at the convention center. It was actually pretty cool this year. Lots of cool shit for sale and, surprisingly, some decent costumes.
-Adrian was kind enough to let me borrow his XBox 360, making me an official XBro! Its a good system. The Party system is, with out question, the coolest part about it.
-I got to have a birthday party thrown just for me. It wasn't big, but it really made me feel special. No one's ever thrown a party just for me before. Thanks so much Megan and Melissa.
-Went to Metrocon, which if you were there you know it was fucking awesome. I wore a cool new costume and got to stay at Indra's house. Didn't something else happen that weekend too? Hm...oh yeah! This:
-I went to the beach to meet Hannah and Laura a few days after Metro. That was the only time I went to the beach this summer, but I can't imagine a better beach trip than this one.
-AFO was particularly great this year. I co-hosted a One Piece panel with Melissa, my friends all hosted great panels, and the convention was really fun. And of course, Dee and Adrian suprised me by flying Hannah down. Can't believe no one slipped up and let me know.
-Ann and Dee's birthday was spent this year at Disney along with Adrian, Matt, Chris, and myself.
-Me, Adrian, and John went to Mini Megacon. It was okay. The con was super small but I co hosted a great panel on Fighting Games to come out this year (which went very well) and the second rant panel, which was interesting.
I think that pretty much wraps things up. Other areas of interest include, Ann and Chris moving to Orlando, Hannah and Laura winning Best of Show at Metrocon and winning a trip to New York, and it all ends with Hannah moving to Florida! This has been the greatest summer ever. That about wraps it up.
