Sometimes people change...

And it's not for the better. It really gets me down to see people I hardly ever see anymore, who I used to be great friends with. I see people in public places, they never contact, or try to meet up, but yet there's still the obligation to say hello and be friendly. I think? Either way, after "Hello", there's not much else to say. It's "How have you been?" "Good!" "What have you been up to?" "Oh, you know, the usual." But what does that mean? The usual? Back in the day, usual meant you would hang out, see old friends, take walks, go to shows, have alot of fun. Is it still that way? I think not. It's like they're strangers.

Actually, I take that back. I'm in psychology class, and had to go blow my nose. On the way to the bathroom, a man with headphones in walks by me, gives me this wide-eyed look, and starts singing/rapping whatever he was listening to. Although it's a subinteraction, he took the initiative to try to connect with me. I hardly ever find friends do that, if I haven't seen them in a while.

It's really just quite sad...
