It never ceases to amaze me how much virutalization confuses and arouses me simultaneously.

In the past, I never really considered products like VMWare or Virtual PC because quite frankly it seemed impossible to get anything close to reasonable performance out of them. I'm not 100% sure when this changed, but so far this is seeming to justify me taking the money I'm slowly saving toward building the PC playground I used to have and throwing it at ram and processor because, if I do, I can have 3 virtual PC's running in the background being my playground on my main computer without requiring a KVM or rapidly increasing my power bill.

Methinks it's time to look at quad core processors and 8gb worth of ram.
