So, at some point probably three months ago now, our building got a new water tank. Ever since then the water has tasted like dirt and is totally undrinkable. When it first started and we thought it would only last a few days, we started drinking the bottled water, normaly only for clients...until we got a very nasty email from the partners to stop drinking the bottled water. Then everyone started buying large jugs and carrying them around. This means that there is also no water for the coffee machines, so I've taken to drinking instant coffee. About a month ago, one of the partners emailed around that we should stop all this nonsense, that the water was determined "by blind taste test" to be just fine. The problem is, its really not. It still tastes just like dirt. This morning, lugging with me my lunch, my home bottled water and home made coffee on a crowded train, I just got so frustrated. Why is everyone trying to *pretend* that things are normal when theyre not - trying to say they are one way when they are another? Why isn't it just simple enough to admit that there is a problem with the water and get one of those office water coolers that most people have anyway? Life is just getting more and more difficult, bit by bit...people adding stresses and tasks that really never needed to be added until you have so many chores and so many things to carry that hat you go and forget the real things that youre supposed to be remembering. This is just not ok with me.
