The interview for this article took place during the DREAM BOYS musical all of a sudden, on September 16th. The four of them who feel like they stand at a turning point, gave us an interview about the "read of autumn".

The other day shortly before the raising of the curtains took place I was told by a staff member "Today Higashiyama Noriyuki [member of Shounentai] came as a spectator!" That made me so very nervous that I gnawed on my script. Because the audience still laughed, I was rescued - even though I still had to finish my lines, I was spared ...
After the play had ended, Higashiyama-san told me "This time you also flew a lot, didn't you?", if I think about it thoroughly, this time we do more stunts in the air than on the ground. Doing this, because we were given many challenges to face, everyday was really full. It's the time when you say "Aa~h!" at the last day of the play. Of course, DREAM BOYS makes fun, but when it's over I want to pursue the goal to get my (driving) license with all my strength. I want to drive to the sea in October (laughs). Speaking of reading, I remember if though it's been quite some time since: I read Be With You* and cried doing so (laughs). I don't usually read those, but I really got into the shoujo manga NANA. The series is really gripping!

In this version of DREAM BOYS, we dance two songs together with Yara-kun - that's a new experience. It's difficult to express with words, movements we didn't do until now are being brought in. When we learned them, I struggled a lot. But I enjoy to learn something new, it gives me this feeling of change. More, there is this impression of many stunts in the air. While I'm move through the air, hanging in loops, I become quite calm and and the height of the happenings makes me a bit scared, it's a mystery and a good feeling.
Like becoming inattentive and sleepy (laughs). Gotta be careful. When the play is over I'll have many holidays. Though there are many different things I want to do, the thing I like best to do for a holiday is to travel. But I spend the time at home thinking "Where do I want to go?" and suddenly the holidays are over (laughs). When it comes to the topic of reading, in my case it's manga. (laughs). Because I read quite a lot, I look forward to do so. The one I follow up lately is RAINBOW*, which Tsuka-chan showed me. While I read a lot, I get them second-hand from Tsuka-chan (laughs).

The many stunts in the air we are directed to do in DREAM BOYS give me the feeling I have turned into a circus artist (laughs). There are many difficult stunts, but I can pull myself together and enjoy it. Yesterday Kanjani8's Murakami-kun, Yasuda-kun and Maruyama-kun came to watch, and payed a visit in the dressing room - they told us "A.B.C. are artisans, na~" That made me happy; I want to extend the range of challenges I accept. On stage I do as much as I can do, so 'more' comes out of it. When the play is over? I want to make a trip to Wakayama, alone. Well, an amusement park would also be okay. Alone (laughs). Anyhow, to turn back - I won't do so as to let my holidays end at home. And the topic of reading. Lately, in the recess time in DREAM BOYS I read manga I bought out of impulse. For the work called RAINBOW there's another member interested in reading the same. As I am a thorough reader, Goseki-kun's almost finished with two issues when I have finished one. I buy them ... (laughs).

Currently I participate in "Koki's Boot Camp" every day. (Tanaka) Koki-kun does muscle training in the time between the first and the second act, there I participate following his instructions - that is quite hard! Moreover, as day by day the exercise becomes harder, I feel quite weak when the second act begins (laughs). As this time I play a character who gets slain the in the middle of the play, I can cover up the fact that I'm feeling weak on stage (laughs). Yesterday when my part was finished and I washed my face, it happened that I could watch how a bottom was touched from behind by Murakami-kun (laughs). When these hard days are over with, I'll play the guitar with all my strength and watch movies all the time, and enjoy the quiet time (laughs). It suits my tastes to read books, and I read many magazines. About movies and music. For a novel, the last I challenged was Shakespear, but it was a script and so complicted that it wore me out (laughs). The last one I read from the beginning to the end was Darren Shan*, it was interesting.
