Details in the Fabric
Had an awesome time with Cynshen at the Jason Mraz concert. He put on a great show. And I really enjoyed his most recent album, so it was cool to hear it live. And his reggae-infused opening take on "The Remedy" was fantastic, too. Also enjoyed the Plain White T's, though I still can't stand "Hey There Delilah." As for the other opening act, G. Love and the Special Sauce, well, I could lived without that particular experience, but they weren't terrible either. And we only got rained on a little bit (we had lawn seats). And we had a good time at North Point Mall before the show; I bought a new hoodie, and we had some decent mall Chinese food. All in all, an A+ evening!
And a busy but exciting week awaits me:
Tomorrow: Hitting up the SHS Open House with my sister so I can say hi to some of my old teachers; probably watching Disc 3 of Season 2 of Mad Men, assuming Cynshen comes over.
Wednesday: HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE IN IMAX 3-D!!!
Thursday: Trivia Night.
Of course, Criminal Minds and Latin x100000000 will be sprinkled in there, too. I've basically decided that I'm going to eke as much excitement and enjoyment as possible from the remains of the summer. And then Yale! Life is so, so good right now. Here's hoping it stays that way for a long, long while.
