Vaccination scars on the upper arms of Japanese people

I don't know why this never hit me until now but I just realized that Atsushi's gorgeous arms are not marred by vaccination scars! I cannot recall any B-T member showing off their arms and seeing such scars. Am I going crazy? I'm not at home so I can't go through my photos but surely I would remember such a thing. Prove me wrong and post a photo link in the comments.

In Japan and many other countries, it was or continues to be routine to vaccinate the population. Some of these cause noticeable scars. Every Japanese of a certain age clearly has scars on their upper arms. I grew up seeing these on my mom so I thought they were cool and the visual is associated with parental love for me. When I attended elementary school in Japan, I had the opportunity to get the vaccination. As much as I adore scars, I just didn't want to be marred so I opted out. I've met people from other countries with the same scars and when I see them, it makes me think they're cool and it sparks that parental love feeling in me.

Supposedly Japan has changed the vaccination so that it no longer leaves the giant hideous scar but smaller dots left behind by the needles (yes, multiple needles). I can't recall right now the visual of this scar, perhaps because it does not have as much of an impact. Right now, every arm that I can picture is very noticeably scarred.

The scars look like this:

I just feel like B-T is old enough to have the big scars. Why don't they? I must carefully search my photos at home. At least Toll should be old enough to have them. Or is it possible they were all able to opt out? Or is this another case of Okinawa being behind and the old school method continued on in Okinawa much longer than in mainland? My peers had the scars and we are younger than Buck-Tick.
