In all my four years of encore I've never had Mrs.Archer give everyone a speech about not swearing during rehearsal.
sure she gives speeches about eating right, behavior and various things. never about swearing. but i suppose that's because i don't think i've ever heard as much swearing during rehearsal as I've heard during this show.
i suppose a part of it is my fault. Now that I can swear at home i guess i do it a lot more.
but seriously everyone in theatre swears.
of course mrs.archer either just doesn't hear me or just lets it slide.
i really don't mind the whole don't say fuck boys and girls speech but the excuse she used was that in nebraska if we curse in front of a director we could get taken to "thespian court" or something.
like the group going this year is so good, mrs.archer doesn't have anything to worry about. watch this year someone will be taken to court because they say something stupid. of course don is going...haha. he actually said he wanted to go to court.
