"OWEN!" Jack called as he helped Ianto bring the dead creature into the Hub. "We've got another one! Same thing, if the weird tingling where it scratched me is any indication!" He grunted slightly as he shifted the creature's weight. "How's Gwen?!"

Owen had just reached the steps up to the platform when he heard Jack's voice and looked back towards him.

"Shit!" Another one and with sweet FA from the first one, things seemed to be going from bad to worse.

"Holding her own," he replied, grimacing at the same time, so Jack knew the truth without him having to shout it out loud. "Take this to Gwen, will you luv?" As Toshiko passed him, he handed her the mug of coffee, then mouthed the words stay with her, before turning his attention back to Jack.

"I'll take it," he said, taking the weight from Jack, at the same time glancing at the damage to his clothing.

Toshiko took the mug of coffee in both hands and slowly made her way towards Gwen.

Smiling, she stopped, then slowly bent down, holding out the drink. "How do you feel?" she murmured, then wished she hadn't. Stupid question really, Gwen looked awful!

Ianto wondered what the blood thing was made off. I really must weigh a ton. At least. He was rather grateful for Jack to help him carry the bleeding thing. There was a slight fear that if he'd gotten the trolley it would have folded into itself.

Ianto made a mental note to get even stronger trolleys.

He blinked as Owen took over and glanced back to where Gwen was supposed to be. There was a brief wonder if Tosh was going to end up the same way now. Who knew how this poison got transferred?

"Right well," he mumbled, brushing off his still mostly impeccable suit. "Anything else you need me for, Sir?"

Relief swept through her when she heard the others' voices. She was glad they all seemed to be in one piece.

Gwen unwrapped herself slightly from the blankets to retrieve the mug from Toshiko with slightly shaky hands. "Thank you, I'm fine," she lied. She didn't need to worry anyone else.

Her brow crinkled even more when she saw the other woman's appearance, "Tosh, are you okay? What happened?"

"Everyone's fine!" he called over to Gwen as he rubbed at the tingling spot on his neck. "Don't be such a mother hen!"

He glanced down at his hand when he realized it felt wet. Blood. He never bled for more than a few seconds. Okay, that was weird. He didn't dwell on it. Even if it did kill him, he'd only get back up again.

He turned when Ianto spoke to him, wiping his bloody hand on his already blood-stained shirt.

"No, no," he said. "No." He paused. "Well. I'd love a coffee," he admitted. "If you have time," he added quickly. "With all the... stuff... going on."

He touched his neck gingerly again. The tingly itching was really annoying. And the bleeding was annoying too. He wiped his hand again and turned around to shout at Owen.

"I'm more than usually certain that the poison is in the claws!" he hollered.

"What makes you think ... " Owen had just reached the top of the autopsy steps and turned under the archway, when he saw Jack with blood on his hands- not that it was that unusual, until he realised who's blood it was! "Oh, shit!"

Grabbing a towel, he went over to Jack, holding it firmly against his neck. "Press."

Glancing back towards Gwen to check she was alright and that Toshiko had stayed with her, he turned his attention back to Jack. "Haven't had chance to look properly at the claws," he replied, taking control of the towel. "But the teeth are definitely constructed to administer it."

"It fell on me," she said, giving Gwen a sheepish grin. "One of these days I'll learn to move faster."

Picking up the end of one of the sheets that was on the floor, she moved it back onto the settee. "Is there anything you want?" She asked, automatically glancing towards her computer without even realising that she was doing it.

Used to walking in the shadows, Ianto as usual went mostly unnoticed by the rest of the team. It almost was eerie how quickly everyone had slipped back into their usual role not even 2 days after Jack's return. Actually, it was almost sad, because the Welshman was almost certain that the comradeship they had developped would also be gone.

Coffee. Right. Back to being the tea-boy then. Not doing any research. not helping out Owen with anything or even Tosh. Coffee. Naturally. Busy with stuff? What stuff? The paper work? Cleaning up the SVU again? Checking the supplies? All in a days work, all routine he could do in his bleeding sleep.

"Of course, Sir," he murmured, giving the blood on Jack's hand a concerned look. But seeing as Owen had already rushed over to help and /was/ the experted, it wasn't as if Ianto was needed.

"I'll get right to it then. Call me if anyone requires any assistance otherwise," was added in his usual polite way before he made his way up the stairs to the small kitchen.

Gwen rolled her eyes, albeit tiredly, at Jack's comment, especially when she heard Owen's 'Oh shit' ringing through the Hub. Everyone was fine? Not likely.

She looked to Tosh as she continued. Her mouth fell open, despite Tosh already joking about the incident. "Well, it's a bloody good thing nothing worse happened." She didn't want anyone else feeling this crappy.

She sipped the hot liquid, reaching up to rub her eyes as she swallowed. "No, I think I'm fine," she said, noticing where Tosh's glance was lingering. "If you have work to do, go do it," she said. "I'm fine," she repeated for good measure, even if it was a blatant lie.

"Teeth and claws. All the pointy bits. Good to know," Jack noted. "Good thing Tosh only hit her head. No broken skin, no poison." He looked at Owen. "Oh, and Tosh hit her head," he reported.

He watched Ianto leave the area, feeling like he'd said something wrong. It was probably the great big 'sir'. He handed Owen back the towel absently and follwed Ianto up to the kitchen.

He caught sight of the claw marks on his neck and collarbone in his reflection in the coffee machine. It looked like the bleeding had finally just about stopped, but they were still red and angry and kinda burning. So healing much more slowly than usual. Great.

"Look, you don't have to make me anything," he told Ianto. "I'll just throw some tea on, okay?" he suggested, walking around to grab the kettle.

"Thanks," Owen mumbled, as Jack shoved the blood soaked towel at him and went off after Ianto. "Tosh, what've you done now?" He grumbled, glancing towards Gwen, gave her a brief smile, then realising Toshiko had moved to her workstation, changed direction.

"Let's have a look," he mumbled, taking a small penlight from his pocket. "I thought I told you to stay with Gwen," he hissed, then in a louder voice added. "Yeah, you'll live. Any dizziness, feeling sick?"

"No," Toshiko mumbled, looking miserably up at him. She could have said Gwen had said she was alright, but Owen probably wasn't listening (he never did) and he was looking towards Gwen (again), not that it mattered. If she'd come back minus a vital part of her anatomy, he probably wouldn't have noticed- well, apart from complaining about having to bandage it up!

"I'll go back to her now, I just had to check something quickly," she murmured, pushing her chair back. "Sorry."

Quietly, Ianto made his way up the stairs to the kitchen, leaving the others to their professional job. His, apparently, was the make the coffee. He was briefly reminded of the words he'd once yelled at Jack, but he quickly shoved those out of his mind.

"Tea?" He said, the word alone earning the Captain a big frown. The Welshman quickly blocked the man's pathway to the kettle and reached up with a small towel.

"You should clean up," Ianto suggested quietly, dabbing the blood away with the small towel. One which was going to be ruined now. He'd need to get new ones soon. What with as quick as the whole team seemed to get wounded today.

Gwen sipped her drink and listened to the patter and words of everyone in the Hub. Things seemed right when everyone was here. And now, really, everyone was finally here. The team was complete once more. She caught Owen's slight smile and attempted to return it.

She took another few sips and lay back down on her side, hearing Owen chastise Tosh for leaving her. She tried to come to Tosh's rescue since it was her fault she was now being scolded. "It's okay, Owen," she called in a tired voice, "I told her I was fine."

Ianto's face was close to Jack's as he wiped at the blood on Jack's neck. Jack wanted to lean forward and kiss the hell out of him, but he stopped himself because he tried to behave in front of the others and because he wasn't sure how welcome that would be at the moment, though Ianto didn't seem as cross with him as he'd thought when he followed the younger man up the stairs.

"You just... seemed annoyed when I asked you for coffee," he explained, keeping still to allow Ianto to wipe at the dried blood on his neck. "Not having it won't kill me, you know" he pointed out. "The poison might still," he added with a chuckle, his tone light, though the wounds were still burning and he wasn't entirely sure it was a joke, "but I'll probably survive without caffeine if you're busy. Or... if you just don't feel like it."
