Who: Buffy, Willow, Tara, etc
When: Evening
Where: Magic Box

Buffy kicked the punching bag off its chain for the tenth time that day. She probably should treat her training supplies a little more nicely, as Giles and Riley (and even Xander) had warned, but lately, she was just getting so into her slayer training. And even more ( Read more... )

Tara had been arranging some magical potions in the back. She had been helping Giles out a lot ever since he had purchased the Magic Box. She found the place to be a calming atmosphere, even though it seemed that every owner of the place had met some awful end. It made her worry a little, but, since Buffy was here so often, she felt safe ( ... )

Late classes, Willow had decided, were the suckiest of the sucky. At least she wasn't having any real evening classes, cause that would be even suckier. Then she would be up on a tomb making homework while patrolling with Buffy. Not that she hadn't done that before. It was how they got through highschool after all ( ... )

With her head propped up by her hand, Buffy lazily read the book. And remembered so well why she was the one who helped Xander get snacks during intense research sessions. She wanted to be way more schooley, and she was trying to be all gung-ho with her slayer homework, but reading and studying generally bored her ( ... )

Tara smiled at Willow when she said hello to her. "Hello," she said back. She couldn't help but be head over heels for the redhead. She had felt some special kinship with Willow ever since she had first seen the girl. They had been the only two of that silly Wiccan group who actually knew what magic could really do. They had been very lucky to find each other ( ... )

"That's a whole lotta not a clue," Willow teased Buffy, grinning at her best friend. So, wow, all the guys were out doing whatever? Well, guys and Dawn and Anya. Demon wedding. Huh. Who knew there were demon weddings! Probably meant a lot of icky food Willow so did not ever wanna think about. Ew ( ... )

Buffy thought it was pretty adorable that Tara barely noticed Buffy when Willow was in the room. More power to them if they could keep it going. And she was most definitely support-o gal when it came to the two witches. She knew better than anyone how hard it was to find romance on the Hellmouth ( ... )

Tara smiled when Willow kissed her cheek and felt her face get a tad warm. She was very glad that they didn't have to worry about things like having to hide their relationship from anyone anymore. While the others assumed that Dawn didn't know what was going on between them, Tara was pretty sure that the girl understood perfectly. Even with them being 'out in the open' she still wasn't completely used to public displays of affection Oh she liked them! Very much! She just wasn't used to them yet ( ... )

Had it been anyone else, then Buffy's yawn would have been annoying and garnered an observation such as 'am I boring you?' Had it been anyone else but Willow or her friends. They all knew The Slayer was out late at night getting rid of evil and stuff. Often they would join her. But Willow wouldn't when she had classes. At least not yet, the further into the year, the less she would be at her classes herself ( ... )

She arched as brow in amusement as the two girls made googly eyes at each other. She smiled to herself, absently wondering where Riley was. She wanted some googly eye making, dammit ( ... )

Tara had sort of felt that she would be intruding on their conversation. She still felt like sort of an outsider between all of them, even though she knew that Willow loved her dearly and the others liked her fine. It was kind of why she had bonded with Dawn so well. They both felt a little like they were on the outside of such a tight group of friends and looking in ( ... )

Willow never used the word hate. It was really a strong word to use. But whenever Tara would do the shy mousy thing and simply just would remove herself from the equitation as if she didn't belong? Yeah, she really hated that ( ... )

As she spoke, Buffy could tell that her friend's mind was elsewhere. Elsewhere in the room, anyway. After getting that short glimpse into her friend's brain when she was temporarily telepathic, she knew that Willow was good at mentally multitasking ( ... )

Tara had actually felt a lot better about her position in the group than she used to. She still was only so far into the ‘fitting in’ thing with this group of friends. One problem she kind of had with feeling comfortable around them was that they were all just so close. It felt strange trying to get used to being around people that had just so many inside jokes and looks that meant something. She had to remind herself that they actually did want her to be around. Well, she assumed so because they kept inviting her to do stuff ( ... )
