SETTING: Late in NFA, right before the big final fight
What do I want written on my tombstone? I really don’t know; I guess I never really thought about it. For a while, I didn’t think I’d even have a tombstone. I was either going to die on the street, or worse, become one of them…a vampire. Even now, I don’t know if there’ll be anything left of me after this. Illyria says I have 10 minutes at best. My time’s up, and I still don’t know what I want my tombstone to say. I guess I want it to say something good about me. You know, so people know I did something good with my life. But now’s not the time. Maybe I’ll make it through this, maybe I won’t. Already I can hear the demons coming, and you know what? I’m ready for them. They can come with 10, 20, even 30 thousand, and in the end, it doesn’t matter. I know what side I’m on. I know what I’m fighting for. In the end, I’ve got conviction.
