1.) Name: María

2.) Age: 22

3.) Location: Madrid, Spain

4.) Describe your good traits in 5 words: I'm self-assured, brilliant, witty, optimistic and hot

5.) Describe your bad traits in 5 words: I'm also arrogant, harsh, somewhat naive, conceited and lazy

6.) If you could live in any time in history, what time period would it be and why: This one, because I'm a woman, and going back any other time I wouldn't be thought of as an adult and someone of worth. But for the pretties, the Renaissance or the Victorian Era

7.) Tell us a little about your heritage: Let's see...let's start with my granparents. From my dad's side, my grandpa is form the South of Spain, Andalucia, Cadiz, to be exact (the furthest south point); my granma is from Galicia (the furthest northXD; yeha, I too wonder how they metXD), and she's descended from eastern Europe. From my mom's side, my grandpa was from Madrid, but hsi parents were from Old Castilla, so old family here; my granma is form Madrid as well, but her parents were, he from Castilla (and of old arabic ancestry) and she from Extremadura (and a gypsy)

8.) Favorite book(s)?
The whole A Song of Ice and Fire series. A Storm of Swords is he best book I've ever read. I'm a hardcore fan of these series, it's so good, so varied, with multiple POVs and wonderful characterization...the story is grim and dark, but it has some wonderful romantic and heroic scenes, and very good prose, and snark lines and the best female character EVER (Arya Stark). Theories and discussion is one of the most interesting out of all the fandoms I've known. Jaime Lannister is one of the best written character development I've read, and his rescuing scene made me cry like crazy.

-The Song of Troy: multiple POVS (I really dig that), alternate interpretations abou some of the most well-known myths about Greece (I'm such a nerd about Greek MythsXD). One of the best Odisseus I've ever read, a story about people and war and desperate courage and hardships, they expand on The Iliad tale with some later myths born from it, and leave enough mysticism and strange happenings to leave doubt about the existence or not of the Gods.

-Dune: Another great story with very good characters and character development. One of those unique and perfectly defined worlds that I love, a "complete universe", and also a dark tale full of grit and grim and real people, not Big Good, Big Bad

-New Republic Trilogy, Hand of Thrawn duology, I, Jedi, The Courtship of Princess Leia, New Jedi Order series and X-Wing/Wraith Squadron books. I'm a Star Wars freak, and these books are way way better than the movies. Most of the best characters are her,e including Thrawn (Vader wishes he were so cool), Face Loran (sooo funnyXD, and someone who puts the past behind), Jaina (most kickass female character ever, with Arya) and Han shines more brightly than in the movies.

9.) Favorite movie?
-Life of Brian: How can anyone not like Life of Brian? Or the Monty Python? They're so full of crackXD. This is the best story about Christ ever. My particular favourite scene is the whole process of becoming a messiah, when he falls in those prophets' stands and starts his stupid tale just to hide form the romans, and people start to follow him, his shoe and the pumpkinXD

-The Mission: One of the best films ever in existance; good script, compelling, very unknown, true history, good characters, astounding acting, good direction, very good photography, impressive soundtracks and one of the most beautiful sceneries in the world. It's a touching (but not too emotional) tale about two different men and their different apporaches to life and to certain death, and the wonderful thing is that the movie doesn't side with any, because they're equally acceptable and honourable; they are brought to life by two of my greatest loves, Robert de Niro and Jeremy Irons. What's not to like? By the way, I always cry like crazy at the end.

-Moulin Rouge. Romantic, morbid, too bright, too crazy, too extravagant, and everything brought to a hallucinating highXD. I love that kind of art direction and aesthetic quality, almost between dream and reality, about decadent places and decadent people, everything rich and with a touch of disease. It's also one of the most beautiful romantic tropes ever written. I love the director's works, he reminds me a bit of Tim Burton as a filmaker, and of Neil Gaiman as a writer.

10.) Favorite quote?
"The meaning of life can be summed up in two words: to live"

11.) How do you want to die?: Old, preferablyXD. Very happy, very accomplished, and very rich, in a big house after a big family party and being in bed with my partner, who, I hope, is some young, funny and gorgeous man. Oh, wait, make it twoXD

12.) Do you have any special talents?
I'm a fast learner in anything related to History, Arts and Languages. I have an innate talent for learning different languages. I'm a fast reader and a very good writer. I'm an agressive arguer who can defend almost anything. In spite of being too conceited, people say I have a lot of charm and lead people around effortlessly
I also give very good advice ^.^

13.) In your group of friends, where do you stand (leader... follower... comic relief... etc): Loner, but people seek me out; I don't go out much, because I'm a weirdo and prefer to stay at homeXD, and people call me and push and press me to go out with themXD. They also seek my advice many times.

14.) When you imagine yourself ten or fifteen years down the road, what do you see yourself doing: In The States as a scrptwriter for TV and stressing myself out, or in Japan with my best friend writing scripts for her manga drawing

15.) Which is more important to you? Love, or duty: Love!!! Who cares about duty? Love is everything in life: family, friends and lovers

16.) If you were a color, what would you be a why: Red. I've always been strongly attracted to that colour. Since I was a child, if I could pick any color for anything, I would pick red. It's funny, because my second last name is "Rojo" which means "red" in Spanish. It's a summer color, strong, too bright, compliments dark skin rather nicely (and I have dark skin), it's a very fiery Spanish color, it attracts all the attention and can mean both very good and very bad things
