Author's Notes: A little overdramatic maybe, but the challenge just inspired me.
Willow embraced the metal urn tight: Inside, her lover, burned and pulverized to fine ash. She held Tara close for one last time. The sun streamed through the branches reminding her of so many moments: long walks with Tara, magic in moonlight and, like heavy weight, the night she had killed Warren.
Unscrewing the top, Will glimpsed a small puff alight on the breeze. She didn’t want to lose any part of her and almost set to closing the urn. Tears welled.
Time to let her go, she thought, and slowly began to scatter the ashes along the forest floor.
