Book withdrawal
I've not read a book since the middle of July. Yes, that's right. It's been that damn long since I've read anything, mainly because I started cross stitching and then started and finished the adoption profile. And now I have more cross stitching that must be finished before Christmas.
I can not wait until Christmas! On that day, I'm picking up a book and I'm reading. I have New Years day off - which I intend to spend not with my traditional puzzle, but with a book.
I have no idea which book to pick up; I have so many that I love and want to reread, and so many that I haven't read yet. I fear I will be frozen with indecision. Perhaps I should just go to the bookstore at that time and get a brand new one! I've never gone this long without reading a book. Never, in all my life since I can remember beginning to read, have I gone so long without a book in my hand.
I miss my paper-filled friends. I know I'm a dork, but I don't care, as long as I get to read.
